When are you open?
We are open Tuesday - Saturday. The first tour begins at 9:00 am and the last tour begins at 4:00 pm. Tours are continuous throughout the day, except for the hour of 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm. We are open March - December.

What is Historic Mansker's Station?
Historic Mansker's Station is a site in which visitors can experience life on the Tennessee frontier during the 18th century. Guests tour two areas: reconstructed
Mansker's Fort
and the Historic Bowen's House built circa 1787. Tours begin at the Welcome Center where there is a museum, gift store, and visitors can view a short film about the site.

What is admission?
Effective July 1, 2009, admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and AAA members, and $6 for children ages 6-12. Children five and under are free. Group rates for 15 or more are available. For more information you may contact the site at (615)859-3678.

Can I walk around without having to take a tour?
The site is located within Moss-Wright Park, so guests may walk throughout the park and look in the Welcome Center. However, if visitors wish to go inside the fort or historic home, admission is required.
