City Commissioner Jeff Cordell


Jeff Cordell was appointed to the Board of Commissioners on September 19, 1999. Jeff is the principal of White House High School and has served as a teacher/administrator in the Sumner County school system since 1983.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and reared in Goodlettsville, Jeff graduated from Goodlettsville High School in 1978.

He holds an undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a graduate degree from Tennessee State University.

Jeff has served Goodlettsville as a member of the Park Board. He is a member of the Tennessee and National Education Associations, where he has served in leadership positions. He has been a teacher and leader of his church's Sunday School department and serves on the church building committee.

He and his wife, Lori, have two children, Jane Ann and Brice.
