The Goodlettsville Fire Department was established as a volunteer fire department by the Goodlettsville Men’s Club in 1944. Now, the department is located in the Southeast's largest fire facility.

Fire Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Goodlettsville Fire Department is to serve the citizens and business of the City of Goodlettsville by protecting life, property and the environment from hazards and dangers of fire, medical emergencies and man-made or natural disasters through prevention, education and timely incident response.
Fire Department Tours
Daily tours are conducted at the Goodlettsville Fire Department. Needy Children's Christmas Program
In 1986, a Goodlettsville firefighter suggested a program to raise money to provide needy children a Christmas party, complete with gifts and a visit from Santa Claus. Click for full story.
