The City of Goodlettsville Police Department has applied to the Bureau of Justice for the Edward R. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Formula. This grant is a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Police Department would be eligible for funding in the amount of $43,094.00, which would be used to equip new police vehicles.

The City of Goodlettsville Police Department has applied to the Bureau of Justice for the Edward R. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Formula. The Police Department would be eligible for funding in the amount of $10,484.00, which would be used, along with other funds from the Departments Drug Fund, to replace a vehicle utilized by the Crime Suppression Unit.
