Acceptable Items
- Newspaper
- Old newsprint, magazines, telephone books
- Cardboard - all boxes should be flattened before being deposited for collection
- Corrugated boxes, cereal boxes, any box that tears gray or brown, brown paper grocery bags
- Plastic
- Bottles with necks, which includes milk jugs, soda bottle, bleach bottles, detergent containers, windshield washer fluid bottles, etc.
- Plastic #1 through #7
- No motor oil bottles accepted
- Aluminum
- Beverage cans, clean foil, and pie pans
- Steel / Tin Cans - labels can be left on
- Food / beverage cans, pet food cans, steel lids, empty aerosol cans
- Glass - remove lids and rinse container
- Bottles and jars, separated by color (clear, brown, and green)
- Office Paper - Colored or white paper, manila folders, envelopes, computer paper, fax paper, post-it notes, shredded paper
- Electronics - computers, monitors, printers, fax, telephones, cell phones, mice, radios, stereos, speakers, etc.
