Senior Spirits

The Goodlettsville Senior Spirits is a leisure service with the purpose of offering a variety of recreational activities of interest to adults who are 55 years and older. They began meeting in August of 1986 when the City of Goodlettsville provided a room at Delmas Long Community Center and hired retired Metro Nashville Art Teacher Annette Walker as Senior Programmer. Linda Forehand is the current senior programmer supervisor.
Weekly Schedule
Monday - Crafts with Melinda at 10:30am, bi-monthly
Tuesday - Weekly potluck lunch with guest speaker or entertainment beginning at 10:30am
Wednesday - Art with Richard from 9:00am-1:00pm. Work with oils, arcrylics, and water colors.
Thursday - Exercise with grace at 10:00am. Book club is the 2nd Thursday of each month at 9:00am.
Everyday - Card games and men's coffee club
In addition to these weekly activities, the Senior Spirits take multiple day trips each month and several out of state trips during the year.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. till 4 p.m.
