Detective Division (CID)

The function of the detective division (CID) is to investigate all major crimes.  They handle cases ranging from small/simple theft cases to murder cases.  Patrol personnel take the initial report and the reports are assigned to Detectives by the CID supervisor, Lt. Harry Bell.  The detectives receive specialized training in the areas of death investigations, crime scenes, fingerprints, evidence handling, sex crimes, court presentations, surveillance, interviewing, and other related areas of criminal investigation.
